Okay so lately I'm full of drama...physically speaking that is. Right after I was done getting cut opened to bring my daughter into this world she had to stay in the hospital because she was sick. When she finally comes home I get a breast infection.
If that doesn't suck I have a bad reaction to the meds they gave me and I end up in the emergency room. I go to the emergency room where they do tons and tons of tests, including a spinal tap and lumbar puncture. Unfortunately I got the two stupidest doctors (tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber I call them) in Hawaii and they messed up the tests, continually poking around and not figuring out why I'm in pain and hurting me.
As if THAT doesn't suck they ended up taking out too much fluid and letting little organisms/bacteria into my body so now I have a spinal headache (too much pressure is going to my brain from the spine because there is a lack of fluid because they took out too much!) They gave me pain killers and sent me home saying "Don't get up, lay flat on your back for a week"
"What about my baby? I have a newborn" I say
"Don't take care of the baby" is their genius reply
Luckily I have the best ward in the entire world and they've helped me take care of my baby as well as bring us dinners since I have to lay on my back all day because of dumb and dumber.
AND if THAT doesn't suck I ended up back in the hospital yesterday because the pain killer they gave me wasn't working to alleviate the pain in my head. Why you ask? Well because the side affect of the pain killer was....you guessed it....headaches! They finally figured out the perfect combination of pain killers and antibiotics for me and now I'm laying on my back slowly getting better and enjoying my "pain killer cocktail" as the doctor put it.
I see a neurologist on Wednesday just to make sure I am okay and there's not some other condition going on. Everyone in my family and in my ward have been so awesome and there is no way I'll ever be able to repay them...never! But I'm so glad to have them! But still....such drama....Grrrr!

Oh...my...goodness!!!! SCARY!!! I wish I could help! I'll pray! My mother in law calls dr.s "practicing physicians" with an imphasis on practicing! They don't know!! What a sucky thing to happen when your baby first gets home! Breast infections suck too!! I'll pray!!

Well it sounds like life is exciting right now. I guess I will continue to wait to call you since your condition probably won't make it easy for you to talk on the phone really. Spinal Migraines I hear are worse the Migraines so believe me when I say I feel really bad for you because if they are you probably don't even want to move your head a fraction of an inch. I have never had to much faith in the doctors in Hawaii and that all just came from my one experience with the Neurologist that I got when I was referred there. Not to get you worried he was just asking me stupid questions the entire time and then didn't give me anything for the migraines and wanted me to be his experiment since I get Aura Migraines that are not as common as others. Let me know if you need anything, I still haven't sent your package so it might be that I just bring your baby gift with me in December.... Which is okay because everything I got was 3-6 months anyway. If you need someone to yell at and be a B to your doctors I have experience in that area too. :)
Oh man! What terrible luck, getting stuck with dumb and dumber!!! Get better fast!
