Valentines

I hope all of your Valentines day, and for some of you Single Awareness Day, was fun. I remember always doing something on Valentines Day whether I was with someone or not. But this past Saturday was one to remember.

First let me tell you how other Valentines Day's have gone in the past with me and Rabici. When we started dating it was in July of 2003. He left a week before Valentines Day in 2004 and I didn't see him again until June of 2005. So he had no frame of reference on this American holiday. I can forgive that....somewhat.

February of 2006: It's Valentines Day, Rabici says he's got it all planned out. We went to his rugby game. Kelly not happy.

February 2007: We got into a fight about something, I can't even remember what, and we went to Zia's as a last ditch effort to salvage the night. I was red-eyed and puffy from crying, Rabici was irritated and it sucked. Kelly not happy.

February 2008: I planned it...we went to Disneyland...can you beat that?...no ways. Kelly very happy.

So what happened on Valentines this year?
February 2009: It's his turn to plan it...again...I'm wary. We get up, get breakfast, relax and go on......The Honolulu Screamer! I'm not kidding! some might think it's not romantic enough but I thought it was awesome! It's a 45 minute ride through the water and the driver takes you on spins, dives, and other things that make you practically fly out of your seat and soak you head to toe. Good job honey! Now let's see what he does for February 2010.
