Okay, so I didn't want to see "Transformers" on opening day because I knew EVERYONE else was going to be there too. But Rabici was dying to go and he rarely wants things, so I caved. I'm glad I did because the movie was awesome. All the hype surrounding it and the coverage for it was dead on. It was nonstop action throughout the whole thing!
We ended up going to the 10:50 PM showing because all the other ones were sold out. Then we had to stand in line for 40 minutes so we could get good seats! There were so many people that the theater made a second 10:50pm showing so everyone could see the movie. I would've gone to another theater but the only other theater in Kaneohe isn't showing Transformers until FRIDAY!!! Hello! That was dumb! The theater in the mall made a killing last night. The tickets alone are expensive but then everyone was getting drinks and snacks...they made a fortune off of all of us hard working people.
Even though we didn't get out until 1:30 AM, I was still awake during the movie since it was nonstop action the whole way through. But with that said I do have some questions...or gripes...depends on how you look at it.
1) What's up with this "ALL-SPARK"? Why is it that every machine it comes in contact with turns it into a Decepticon? Why are none of them being turned into a good guy or an Auto-bot?
2) What's up with the camera guy running everywhere Shia Lebeouf is running? Can we say Blair witch project? I felt so nauseated.
3) Why are there no female auto-bots? What, we're not good enough to turn into machines? And there aren't any female Decepticons either. Sexists! Girls make great villians! Not only can we kill people and blow things up, but we do it while looking cute. In the movie there's 3 female autobots who are ninja bikes but after the one speaking line they have, they get killed. They show the girls for two seconds and as one of them is speaking she gets killed. What's up with that? Jealous much?
4) Why do Optimus Prime's ancestors look exactly like the bad Fallen dude? They all look alike...and that's weird. Optimus doesn't look like Megatron and they're brothers! Did our imaginations just wear out towards the end Michael Bay? Did we just not have the energy to continue thinking up designs for these guys?
So basically that was my Wednesday night. Next movie I'm looking forward to: Harry Potter Half-blood Prince. YEA!

Ok...anyway.. I just wanted to say that I vaguely remember female bots in the cartoon... but that was so long ago. Everyone likes to create their own mythos so things are different from what I remember... like the sib thing... I don't remember them being sibs at all. But go figure... makes for a better series.

First of all, I hope Paliku got you the stuff...it wasnt much, but hope it helps.
And secondly, there are female transformers...the autobots motorcycles and also the decepticon girl that seduced sam witwicky...

First the All spark is basically the thing that created all of them and the Decepticons (bad guys)wanted it to create others like them at take over the word.
Second the camera thing I don't know.
Third the motorcyles were females and they ended up dying so I do think your right in saying they are sexest.
And forth the transforms all look about the same in general when they are their raw form. They transfer themselves into cars and mahcines so that they can hide themselves better. I would strongly suggest that if you didn't watch the first movie that you do and if you have to rewatch it again. A lot of your questions can be answered. Plus it is way funny.

I'm so excited for Harry Potter! I loved the Transformers movie and I don't know the answers to all your questions but I think KayTee pretty much summed it up. Plus I'm assuming the All Spark turns all machines into Decepticons b/c they're "deceptive" and not Autobots cuz Autobots have to be cars/automobiles...at least that's what I've come up with.
