This post is more about my thoughts more than anything else. I had to teach P.E. today...yes you heard me, "Physical Education." Now those of you who know me and have seen a recent photo of me know that I am not a physical person. But I got stuck doing it so there you go.
Anyway, my group is "Mixed sports" so we can obviously do different sports each week. Today we did kickball and some football. I was good at the kickball (only because I played soccer for a few years) and then I only watched them play football.
I forgot how torturous P.E. is! I mean for two and half hours, kids are FORCED to run around in the hot sun. I tried to make it fun and interesting for them, but they weren't having it. I couldn't blame them since I was done by 1:00pm and class doesn't end until 2:15pm.
So all of you out there who are P.E. teachers or loved P.E. when you were in High School, I have three words for you:YOU ARE SADISTIC.

This is why I failed PE. I still hate PE. I support you in your thoughts! TTFN
I love PE. but then agian, I didn't have it for like 2 hours! Maybe you could have them do some writing or something. Do you have to do the standards thing or I don't know. good luck!! what other class are you teaching?
